Juan Pedro Ochoa-Ricoux is a professor at the University of California, Irvine. He holds a Ph.D. in physics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Berkeley. He then moved to Chile to serve as a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University.
His main areas of research are:
-Neutrinos: particles he studies through international experiments such as Daya Bay, JUNO, and DUNE.
