Empowering the Next Generation of Scientists
The development of advanced human capital is one of the cornerstones of the SAPHIR Millennium Institute. Through its fellowship program, the institute supports master’s and doctoral students conducting research in particle physics, scientific instrumentation, advanced computing, data analysis, and other fields at the forefront of science.
Since it began operations, SAPHIR has awarded 29 training scholarships, benefiting 21 graduate students from various Chilean universities. These scholarships have helped strengthen academic and scientific careers, facilitating dedication to research projects linked to the institute’s main lines of work and to international collaborations such as CERN.
