Farinaldo Queiroz holds a Ph.D. in physics from the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (United States) and the Federal University of Paraíba (Brazil). He is the head of the research group at the International Institute of Physics, located in the city of Natal, the capital of the state of Rio Grande do Norte.

– Model building in particle physics
– Collider phenomenology
