Bastián Díaz Sáez

Young Researcher

Researcher in particle physics and cosmology Research interests Dark matter production: study of thermal (freeze-out) and non-thermal (freeze-in) scenarios in the early universe. Portals to the dark sector: investigation of Higgs portals, axion-like portals, and neutrino portals, and their phenomenological implications. Long-lived particles (LLPs): relevant in cosmology and experiments, typical of freeze-in models or hidden sectors. Self-interacting dark matter (SIDM): motivated by anomalies in small-scale structure in astrophysics.
