Alfonso Zerwekh is a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the Federico Santa María Technical University and holds a Ph.D. in physics from the State University of São Paulo. He also hosts his own YouTube channel, *La escala de Fermi*.
His areas of interest include theoretical elementary particle physics, phenomenology at the Large Hadron Collider, models of dynamic electroweak symmetry breaking, models with composite Higgs, new spin-1 particles, dark matter phenomenology, and the application of quantum field theory methods to general relativity.
