Francisca Garay holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in physics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics, and is a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
As a researcher and deputy director of the Millennium Saphir Institute, Dr. Garay seeks to contribute to particle physics through theoretical work and then apply this knowledge to the search for and study of particles using data from the Large Hadron Collider.
